When Waycross gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris continuously over Waycross neighborhoods. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop thin pine needles all year long, while broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia drop sweetgum balls, acorns, yellow spring pollen, and heavy leaves. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare across this part of Georgia. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep every downspout flowing smoothly despite constant pine needle and sweetgum buildup along rooflines.
