When Urbandale gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf bur oak, silver maple, cottonwood, green ash, hackberry, eastern red cedar, and ponderosa pine, dump debris onto Urbandale rooflines. Spring brings floating cottonwood fluff and ash seeds, while general wind events push grit into the channel. Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October, filling upper channels fast. Freezing nights happen, snow is likely, and ice dams in gutters become a real winter problem if damp leaf material stays trapped when temperature drops occur. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear local tree drop and protect your home through icy weather.
