When Roswell gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into channels throughout every season. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop needles year-round, while broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia drop sweetgum balls, acorns, and broad leaves. Spring brings heavy yellow pollen that forms a dense paste, while live oak leaf drop adds extra material before fall leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen, but snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to maintain an open gutter system.
