When Perry gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region drop debris year-round into Perry gutters. Pines like loblolly, longleaf, and slash shed dense pine needles continually, while water oaks, broadleaf live oaks, sweetgum, and red maples contribute heavy leaf drop and sweetgum balls. Yellow pollen coating roof surfaces in spring washes down into gutters, forming thick mud. Fall leaf drop usually peaks in early November, clogging channels right before winter. Freezing nights happen in Perry, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, in spring and fall, to keep water moving properly through every season.
