When Moapa Valley gutters fill up
Desert wind carries dust, dried material, and vegetation into every open gutter in Moapa Valley. Leaves, needles, and seeds from nearby trees collect in gutters throughout the year, with leaf drop usually peaking in late October. Freezing nights are rare across this region, and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. However, sudden desert rainfall requires completely open channels to process volume quickly. Heavy debris blocks water flow right when brief storms hit. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal drop and accumulated blowing dirt before sudden rains wash water over the roof edge.
