When Locust Grove gutters fill up
Several tree species common in the region drop debris over local roofs throughout the year. Pines like loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop pine needles continuously, while sweetgum trees shed hard sweetgum balls and acorns fall during fall. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, red maple, and southern magnolia also deposit heavy debris, with yellow pollen thick in spring and live oak leaves dropping shortly after. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November across Georgia. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend scheduling a full gutter service at least twice a year, during spring and fall.
