When Jefferson gutters fill up
The local climate brings freezing nights in winter, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. However, trees common in the region cause constant debris problems. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop thin pine needles all year. Spring covers roofs in heavy yellow pollen, while broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia shed leaves, sweetgum balls, and acorns. Live oaks drop old leaves in spring, and general leaf drop usually peaks in late October. We strongly recommend scheduling a comprehensive cleaning visit at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to prevent deep blockages.
