When Enterprise gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, such as broadleaf white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, red maple, loblolly pine, and eastern red cedar, send heavy debris onto residential rooflines. Spring brings thick deposits of yellow pollen and early seed dropped from overhead branches, while fall produces a heavy fall of oak leaves, sweetgum balls, and stiff pine needles. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November, heavily clogging every local downspout before winter rains arrive. While freezing nights happen in Enterprise, ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect against localized water damage.
