When Corbin gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region, such as broadleaf white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, red maple, loblolly pine, and eastern red cedar, drop material onto Corbin roofs throughout the year. Spring brings sticky pollen grains, while late October usually marks the peak period for heavy leaf drop. Pine needles and acorns also fill channels, creating dense dams that trap water. Winter brings freezing nights and likely snow to Kentucky, so standing trapped moisture can freeze and weigh down the metal edges. We recommend scheduling a full gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to prevent winter ice weight and spring moisture overflow from harming your property.
