When Commerce gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into Commerce gutters throughout the entire year. Regional softwoods like loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine shed thin needles every season. Hardwood species like broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia drop heavy leaves, oak foliage, spiky sweetgum balls, and acorns. Yellow pollen coats roofs each spring before washing down into the gutters. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October across Georgia. While freezing nights happen, ice dams are not an issue here and snow is rare. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to protect your entire home.
