When College Park gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine, produce constant organic dropped material. Pine needles fall into gutters all year, joined by bright yellow pollen in spring, heavy sweetgum balls, acorns, and live oak leaves. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November across Georgia. Freezing nights happen here in winter, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal material before winter cold or summer storms set in.
