When Buford gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia, shed heavy material into channels. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop needles all year, creating tight blockages. In spring, yellow pollen and live oak leaves land in your channels, while sweetgum balls and acorns collect during fall. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. To protect your roofline, we recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, keeping downspouts clear before heavy rains begin.
