When Braselton gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including longleaf pine, loblolly pine, water oak, and sweetgum, drop debris into gutters year-round. Pine needles drop continually, while yellow pollen covers surfaces in spring, forming sticky clogs. Broadleaf foliage usually peaks in late October, dropping heavy leaves alongside hard sweetgum balls. Freezing nights happen in Braselton winter, though ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. Trapped water can still freeze in filled channels, expanding and sagging your downspouts. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep water flowing freely.
