When Yulee gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including longleaf pine, slash pine, broadleaf live oak, water oak, and sweetgum, drop debris into Yulee gutters in every season. Loblolly pine needles land on roofs all year long, forming dense mats that plug downspout openings. Spring brings heavy coats of yellow pollen followed by live oak leaf shedding. Fall and winter push sweetgum balls and heavy acorns into the channels. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare here. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep rainwater moving off your roof without backing up.
