Debris and Drainage Conditions
Roof drainage problems often develop when windblown material settles into troughs or obstructs downspout outlets. Depending on the surrounding trees and exposure of a given parcel, accumulation may consist of pine needles, leaves, small twigs, or fine silt. If matter sits damp in the gutters, it can restrict water movement long before the main channels appear completely full from the ground.
