Drainage Obstructions and Clog Conditions
Gutter systems experience drainage interruptions when organic debris such as leaves, twigs, pine needles, or airborne grit collects in the horizontal troughs. Debris frequently accumulates near the downspout drop outlets, restricting the gravitational flow of water. If downspout openings become blocked, rainwater cannot enter vertical pipes, resulting in water collecting along the roofline.
