When Woodstock gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including sweetgum, red maple, live oak, water oak, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine, drop materials near residential roofs throughout the year. Yellow pollen arrives in spring, pine needles fall continuously, and sweetgum balls or acorns drop before winter. Mid October usually brings heavy foliage drop across Woodstock. Freezing nights happen and snow is likely in Virginia, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Still, trapped winter moisture can freeze, adding weight to your roofline. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal buildup and allow snow melt to flow freely through every downspout.
