When Wilson gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including sweetgum, red maple, water oak, broadleaf live oak, and southern magnolia, shed heavy material into local gutters. Conifers like loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop thin needles all year long, while yellow pollen coats roofs in spring. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall. Spring gutter cleaning clears out yellow pollen and oak drops before summer rainstorms arrive. Fall cleaning removes late October leaves, sweetgum balls, and acorns so winter rain drains cleanly through every downspout without overflowing the roofline.
