When Welcome gutters fill up
Local trees common in the region drop debris across every season, requiring steady attention to maintain clear downspouts. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine cast sharp pine needles into gutters all year long. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia shed yellow pollen in spring, while sweetgum balls and acorns fall during late summer. Oak leaves usually drop heavily around late October. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend routine cleaning at least twice a year, in spring and fall, to prevent deep blockages.
