When Watauga gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris across Watauga throughout the entire year. Broadleaf live oak trees drop mature leaves in spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and pecan shells fall into open channels during early summer. Loblolly pine needles and ashe juniper pollen settle into downspouts in winter, and general leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights happen in Texas, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend scheduling a full gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to remove stubborn organic build-up and keep water flowing freely away from your foundation through every season.
