When Valrico gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine, constantly drop material on residential roofs. Long pine needles fall all year, sliding down the slope to form dense mats inside every gutter. Spring brings yellow pollen along with live oak leaf drop, while sweetgum balls and acorns tumble down late in the year. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare in Valrico, Florida. Rain is the primary force, making routine maintenance critical. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep channels open.
