When Thonotosassa gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, such as broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine, create ongoing drop cycles. Pine needles fall into the gutter all year long, while spring brings yellow pollen and live oak leaf drop. Later months bring sweetgum balls and acorns that block each downspout. Freezing nights are rare in Thonotosassa, and ice dams are not an issue here. However, sudden summer downpours demand fast flow. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep every gutter free from recurring organic buildup.
