When Strathmore gutters fill up
Trees common in the region include broadleaf red maple, white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, and eastern white pine. In spring, oak catkins drop directly into gutter runs, forming thick mats that choke downspouts. By mid October, general leaf drop usually peaks, dumping broad leaves, heavy acorns, and spiky sweetgum balls across roof lines. Freezing nights happen throughout winter, and snow is likely, making clear channels critical before winter cold sets in. Ice dams in gutters are not an issue here, yet trapped water will still expand inside downspouts when it freezes. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect your property.
