When South Lebanon gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including sugar maple, red maple, bur oak, hickory, American elm, white pine, and spruce, drop heavy debris. Maple seed wings fall during spring, followed by broad leaves, acorns, and pine needles later in the year. Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October, packing channels tight before cold weather arrives. Winter brings freezing nights, snow, and ice dams in gutters, which trap heavy ice along the roof. Blocked channels accelerate roof damage when ice melts and refreezes. To protect your roof, we recommend a gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep water moving through every season in South Lebanon.
