When Solvang gutters fill up
Solvang weather rarely brings freezing nights, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare. However, dry dust and organic debris collect constantly along rooflines. Tree matter including leaves, needles and seeds drops heavily into gutter channels, with leaf drop usually peaking in late October. Rain storms wash these loose materials straight into downspouts, causing heavy clogs if channels remain uncleaned. To maintain clear drainage, we recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall. A proper fall service removes October foliage before seasonal rains start, while a spring service clears out accumulated seeds, fine sediment, and winter build-up across California properties.
