When Silverdale gutters fill up
Frequent Pacific Northwest rains combine with local foliage to keep your drainage system constantly working. Leaves, needles, and seeds from nearby trees collect in gutters throughout the year, with leaf drop usually peaking in late September. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare in this part of Washington. Even without ice, wet debris creates thick blockages that impede water flow. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear out organic material before continuous coastal rains set in.
