When Seekonk gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf sugar maple, red maple, American beech, white birch, northern red oak, eastern white pine, and eastern hemlock, drop material into Seekonk gutters all year. Maple seed wings collect during late spring, while acorns, pine needles, and leaves pile up fast in fall, where leaf drop usually peaks in early October. Freezing nights and snow are likely during local winters, turning damp leaf sludge into solid ice masses inside neglected channels. We recommend clearing your gutter system at least twice a year, spring and fall, to prevent winter blockages and maintain proper roof drainage during periods of rain and snow melt.
