When Seaford gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into Seaford gutters during every month of the year. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine cast sharp pine needles continuously. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia add substantial waste. Yellow pollen coats roofs in spring, while sweetgum balls and acorns drop later in the year. Live oaks also drop old leaves as new growth appears. Freezing nights and snow occur here, though ice dams are not an issue. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to prevent heavy seasonal buildup from stopping proper downspout flow.
