When San Marcos gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into your gutter throughout the year. Broadleaf live oak trees shed leaves during spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and pecan debris land on the roof shortly after. Ashe juniper produces heavy pollen during winter, and cedar elm, post oak, crape myrtle, and loblolly pine add additional waste. Freezing nights are rare here, so ice dams inside a gutter system are not an issue, and snow is rare. However, sudden rain downpours demand open pathways. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage seasonal accumulation and protect your residential property from overflow damage.
