When San Antonio gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into channels throughout different seasons. Broadleaf live oak trees drop heavy leaf loads in early spring rather than fall. Pecan trees drop oak catkins, nuts, and pecan shells, while crape myrtle blossoms drop during summer. Ashe juniper trees release dense pollen in winter, and loblolly pine needles fall alongside post oak and cedar elm leaves. Freezing nights happen occasionally, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. We recommend scheduling a gutter cleaning service at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to protect residential drainage systems year round.
