When Rock Hill gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region include broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine. Pines shed needles all year, while spring brings thick yellow pollen. Sweetgum balls and acorns drop alongside leaves, and broadleaf live oaks drop old foliage during spring growth. Fall leaf drop usually peaks in late October across South Carolina. Although freezing nights happen in Rock Hill, ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear heavy debris build-up before seasonal rains arrive.
