When Pineville gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region drop debris into channels throughout the year. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop thin needles constantly. Spring brings yellow pollen along with leaf shedding from broadleaf live oak and water oak. During fall, sweetgum balls, acorns, and red maple foliage fill up channels, with overall leaf drop usually peaking in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but snow is rare and ice dams are not an issue. Still, trapped moisture will expand during overnight freezes and loosen underlying fascia. We recommend schedule maintenance for your gutter system at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to keep water flowing freely.
