When Pavilion gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, such as sugar maple, red maple, bur oak, hickory, American elm, white pine, and spruce, drop heavy debris into roof gutters throughout the year. Spring drops maple seed wings and flowering debris, while leaf drop usually peaks in early October. Conifer needles fall continuously, forming dense mats inside the gutter channel. Winter brings freezing nights, snow, and ice dams in gutters when meltwater cannot drain through blocked downspouts. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal build-up. Timely maintenance prevents frozen blockages and ensures water flows freely during spring thaws and heavy fall downpours.
