When Pascagoula gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop material throughout the calendar year. Broadleaf trees like white oak, sweetgum, red maple, hickory, and tulip poplar drop heavy foliage in fall, while conifers such as loblolly pine and eastern red cedar drop sharp pine needles and acorns. Spring pollen also gathers in gutters, creating a thick sludge when mixed with rain. Freezing nights are rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue in Pascagoula, Mississippi, but coastal rain is constant. We recommend a full gutter cleaning at least twice a year, in spring and fall, to manage this continuous drop of regional pine needles and falling leaves.
