When Parlier gutters fill up
Trees around Parlier drop leaves, needles, and seeds directly onto residential roofs throughout the year. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October, dumping heavy organic matter into every gutter along the eaves. Freezing nights are rare here, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue during the mild winter months. However, early fall storms can push thick debris down into downspout bends, causing heavy overflow. To keep rainwater moving away from the foundation, we recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall. A thorough spring gutter cleaning removes lingering blossoms and seeds, while a fall service clears out heavy fall leaves before heavy winter rain showers begin.
