When Parkwood gutters fill up
Evergreen foliage and surrounding tree canopy push leaves, needles, and seeds directly into Parkwood roof channels. Leaf drop usually peaks in late September, but falling debris lands on roof slopes throughout the year. Because freezing nights are rare and snow is rare in this part of Washington, ice dams in gutters are not an issue. Persistent rainwater creates constant water flow through downspouts instead. Heavy rain mixes with trapped needles to create dense blockages that pull gutters away from fascia boards. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall. Spring service removes leftover winter buildup, while fall service clears peak foliage drops before heavy winter rains arrive.
