When Paris gutters fill up
Several trees common in the region send heavy debris into gutter systems throughout the year. Broadleaf live oak, pecan, cedar elm, crape myrtle, and post oak drop oak catkins, leaves, and pecan shells, while conifers like loblolly pine and ashe juniper release needle clusters and winter pollen. Live oak leaves fall mostly in spring rather than fall, while main leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights happen here, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal debris and prevent water buildup along your roof.
