When Newport East gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf sugar maple, red maple, American beech, white birch, northern red oak, eastern white pine, and eastern hemlock, drop troublesome debris into local gutters. In spring, maple seed wings drift onto the roof line, while acorns fall later in the season. Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October, spreading a heavy carpet of fallen leaves and pine needles across your property. Freezing nights happen and snow is likely in Newport East, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Winter moisture can still freeze heavy mud inside channels, so we recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall.
