When Nashua gutters fill up
Local foliage creates routine maintenance challenges throughout the year. Broadleaf sugar maple, red maple, American beech, white birch, and northern red oak drop heavy leaves, while eastern white pine and eastern hemlock shed thin needles. Seed wings drop every spring, acorns fall in late summer, and leaf drop usually peaks in early October. Winters bring freezing nights, snow, and severe ice dams if standing liquid freezes inside blocked channels. We recommend a complete gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall. Keeping channels open allows heavy snowmelt to drain properly without forming ice along the edge of your roof.
