When Murrieta gutters fill up
Trees in Murrieta are largely evergreen, shedding leaves, needles, and seed pods continuously throughout the year rather than in one fall drop. Freezing nights are rare in this part of California, so ice dams inside gutters do not present an issue, and snow is rare. However, steady year-round leaf drop mixed with dry dust creates thick plugs inside each gutter and downspout. Sudden seasonal rains then back up quickly over the roof edge. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to prevent dense organic debris from hardening inside the system and blocking water flow through warmer dry months and rainy spells alike.
