When Murillo gutters fill up
Trees across Murillo are largely evergreen and drop leaves, needles, and seed pods continuously year-round. Because falling grit accumulates in all months, channels can clog even without a dramatic fall defoliation. Freezing nights are rare in this part of Texas, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue for homeowners here. However, sudden downpours make full gutters overflow rapidly, threatening lawn borders and siding. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear out accumulated debris before intense seasonal rain showers arrive, keeping downspouts clear so water drains without standing against the roof edge.
