When Morrisville gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region, such as red maple, white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, and eastern white pine, drop a variety of heavy debris. Oak catkins fall during spring, followed by acorns and spiky sweetgum balls later in the year. Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October, filling roof channels before winter. Winter brings freezing nights and likely snow, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Trapped water can still freeze inside filled downspouts and cause sagging. We recommend residential gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep systems clear through changing Pennsylvania seasons.
