When Monroe gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, such as broadleaf live oaks, sweetgums, red maples, and loblolly pines, create constant drop conditions for Monroe roof surfaces. Pine needles accumulate all year round, while spring brings thick yellow pollen. Sweetgum balls and acorns fall alongside general oak leaf drop, which usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. However, wet trapped organic matter can still freeze in downspouts during cold snaps. We recommend scheduling a gutter cleaning service at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to keep rain water flowing freely across every season.
