When Millington gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, such as broadleaf white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, red maple, loblolly pine, and eastern red cedar, drop heavy debris into Millington roof troughs. Spring releases a heavy layer of tree pollen, seed pods, and blossoms, while fall brings a massive drop of leaves that usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. Wet debris trapped during cold snaps will still expand, loosening system hangers and pulling metal fascia trim away. We recommend schedule visits for professional gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall.
