When Longview gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into channels throughout the year in Longview. Broadleaf live oaks shed mature leaves during early spring, accompanied by heavy oak catkins and pollen, while loblolly pine needles fall continuously. Pecan shells, cedar elm leaves, and post oak foliage drop later, with general leaf drop usually peaking in early November. Winter brings occasional freezing nights and fine juniper pollen, though snow remains rare and ice dams are not an issue. Trapped pine needles combine with spring live oak leaves to form tight blockage mats. We recommend residential gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to keep water flowing freely.
