When Laurel Bay gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop leaves and debris continuously throughout the year. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia drop heavy leaves, while loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine shed pine needles year-round. Yellow pollen blankets roofs in spring, and sweetgum balls with acorns fill channels late in the year. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect against water backup. Routine gutter cleaning clears dense pine needles and damp leaf debris from every home.
