When Las Cruces gutters fill up
Trees across Las Cruces drop a heavy mix of leaves, needles and seeds that accumulate in your roof channels throughout the year. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November, making fall a critical period for thorough gutter service. While winter brings freezing nights to southern New Mexico, snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. However, lingering organic debris traps moisture against the roof, causing hidden deterioration during cold spells. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to clear out accumulated windblown sand, seasonal seeds, and heavy fall foliage before major weather events occur.
