When Lancaster gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into Lancaster rain gutters during every season. Broadleaf live oak trees drop old leaves in spring rather than fall, while oak catkins, pecan shells, and crape myrtle blossoms fill roof channels. Fall leaf drop usually peaks in early November, dropping material from post oak and cedar elm trees, followed by winter juniper pollen and loblolly pine needles from regional conifers. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend professional cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear gutter line blockages before heavy seasonal downpours strike Texas rooflines.
