When Krum gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf live oak, pecan, cedar elm, crape myrtle, post oak, loblolly pine, and ashe juniper, create constant roof debris in Krum. Live oaks shed leaves in spring rather than fall, while oak catkins drop in early months and juniper pollen collects in winter. Fall leaf drop usually peaks in early November, filling downspouts with heavy pecan shells and dry leaves. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage seasonal leaf accumulation, prevent roof line clogs, and maintain proper downspout flow.
