When Kennett gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf bur oak, silver maple, cottonwood, green ash, hackberry, eastern red cedar, and ponderosa pine, cast debris onto rooflines throughout the year. Spring drops lighter cottonwood fluff and ash seeds into open channels. Wind storms blow grit and fine dust across roofs, packing wet material firmly into place. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October, filling system bends right before winter. Freezing nights happen here and snow is likely, turning wet trash inside channels into solid blocks. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect every Missouri property.
